Sticker interaction

Sticker interaction from peers shows that both ideas are at the same level, perhaps an average amount of stickers, we were hoping for more - but happy with the interest. This gives us insight to develop our ideas further, that we are on the right track and others would be interested to get involved. Development into our two ideas has gone towards the 'make your mark' installation. After visualising the concept for the confetti one, the fans and confetti may not work and will be hard to control this flow, and the confetti everywhere also. For now we are continuing with the mark idea and will see how this development goes.

Final Posters for week 2

Final two ideas developed to A3 posters for week 2 critique. First idea is about 'making your mark', entering a room where it is more intimate and expressing your creativity with multiple media, creating one big artwork - rather than multiple small ones. This box is shaped in a 'U' format, with cardboard boxes stacked completing the structure. There could be all sorts of materials given to the clients, large and abnormal products to use to create art.

"Express yourself in a self involved collective process that celebrates a happening. This experience based stall looks to collectively produce this installation of self expression, dare to make your mark."

The second idea is an installation to experience a tactile environment, confetti blown around a room by fans. This box is more of a walk in, walk out area, there could be attractive lights or music which would excite the client. Confetti would be blown around the room by multiple fans, circulating the confetti around the room.

"Experience an unknown and intimate self involvement into a tactile environment. This experience based stall will take your out of your everyday routine."

Ideas towards A3 posters

This is our initial planning towards creating our A3 posters. We went over ideas and thoughts, key words and development. Thinking about a room or a box, and how we could create this - most sustainable and therefore cheaper for us is to use recycled cardboard boxes. We could try stacking them, different shapes would give a great visual effect. The shape of the box could be in a 'U' shape, so there is an obvious entry and exit to our stall. This would push people to continue on the journey, to see what is around the corner. Our final favourite ideas were quite similar, both are an installation or a happening - would see what the other groups thought about our ideas and whether we need to develop them further or change the idea completely.

Second Idea Poster

Two doors at the front of the room, one to enter and one to exit, within the box there will be an area and supplies to be able to 'make a mark' being whatever you like, a drawing, text anything you wish. This is an experience where you are confined and free to make your mark.

First idea poster - drawings

A front opened and closed, and a side view of our proposed initial idea. The experience of a box which has confetti/shredded paper being blown around inside, to create an unusual experience for the participant.
